Looks like it's open.

I was riding my bike by there, and saw that they had a full house...

I'll be checking it out sooner or later

Where is it in Denham? I'm in Denham and didn't even know they were opening one.

I like the patio also. That's the main reason I drive to Hammond to eat at La Carreta's instead of the one in Baton Rouge.

Thanks.

Guess that's why I haven't seen it. Don't go to that area too often.

Don't blame you. Let them work out all of the kinks, then go and enjoy it. Glad to know they took that location. I hope they're more successful than the last few restaurants that were there.

I'm sure they will be, but that puts a half dozen 'messican' places with in a mile of each other in DS

I've often wished someone would open a nice Italian place in DS

You're definately right about all of the mexican places, but if this La Carreta's lives up to expectations, it will do fine.

A nice Italian place would be nice. I'm not a huge fan of DeAngelo's, and that's about all there is in Denham for Italian.
