Will be there for one night. Any recommendations for a good place to eat/drink?

Trackside, the nest, big shanty smokehouse, olde town tavern, big pie in the sky (man v food went here), pisanos. Mellow mushroom / taco mac are also in the area.

Whistle stop or Martins for breakfast.

I live ten minutes from Kennesaw.

Depends on what type of food and pricepoint you're looking for.

Trackside Grill or L. Marie's for southern cuisine. Capers for steak, seafood, lamb, etc. Papi's Cuban for Cuban food. Taj Mahal Grill for Indian food.

Come over to Acworth, a short drive away for Henry's Louisiana Grill. Henry Chandler is from St. Maurice, Louisiana. He's the chef and owner and his restaurant is really popular. He's usually there handing out beads. Big Saints and LSU fan and has their banners and such in the restaurant.

I walked right past that Henry’s place a couple years ago. Looked like the real deal.

How do you like living there? That Acworth/Kennesaw area seemed like a good place to live.

The guy who said Martins for breakfast wasn’t kidding. Their biscuits are on another level. Tenderloin and egg, bacon and egg, I could go on.

It's always packed. Great atmosphere and food.

We like it. Easy drive down 75 into Atlanta, good restaurants, plenty of outdoor activities, low crime rate. It's growing quickly.

Definitely hit Olde Towne Tavern on 41. Waitress talent is from Kennesaw St.

Great atmosphere, big bar, wood fired brick oven pizza, good pasta/steaks/apps/burgers.

Upscale boisterous crowd mid 20's to 50's. Lotta fun...

I've never eaten there. I just always assumed that it wouldn't be good because of its location and all. We'll have to check it out.

I've enjoyed Ameers since it moved in on Cobb Parkway by the Tattoo place. We used to eat at the one on Cheshire Bridge Road years ago when we live in town. Great middle eastern food.

Chef Basem, when he's there because of the two other locations, is a really nice guy and will take time to talk to anyone that comes in his restaurants.

Also forgot Tacos Del Chavo. That place is legit good. Authentic Mexican food and really cheap.
