Has anyone been? How was your experience?

The restaurant is part of the brain-child of Top Chef winner Richard Blais

A group of 6 is planning on going next Thursday and sitting outdoors.

Seems like a guy like that would have a bar chair that's seemingly more comfortable and better looking than those. The vertical lights at the bar are way too bright with that many columns. I'm sure the food is good though. All I see if furniture tho.

He also does way more tricep work than bicep work.

I’ve eaten his food before when he was the EC at the Spence in Atlanta, always really good

Nothing wrong with that. Bicep strength isn’t as important.

I've eaten there a couple times and I thought it was great. The menu changes all the time so I won't be able to recommend a dish but do yourself a favor and order the biscuit after the meal, it's good stuff. Just next door he has a casual place called The Crack Shack and it's awesome so that could be a spot to go to the follow day. I always swing by there when I'm picking up family from the airport and everyone's wanted to go back.

I normally sit in a booth that overlooks the kitchen and have never sat outside, but from what i can tell the outside area is fairly small.

Little Italy is a really cool area, maybe go grab drinks before dinner, a couple of my favorite spots are Nolita Hall and Kettner Exchange which are both walking distance from the restaurant.

I ate there a couple of years ago and thought it was great. Was in town for work so I sat at the bar and had a great meal. As someone else mentioned the menu apparently changes frequently but I’m sure everything is good.

Also agree about the chicken place next door. They had great fried chicken. Also, if you like good beer Ballast Point has a taproom one block over that’s awesome.

Thanks Saturday and Borrelia.

It’ll be my first time in San Diego and super excited to go here...I also wanted to go to the Addison but the people I am going with aren’t exactly foodies so it was a stretch to talk them into going here. We are planning on a 6:45 dinner in hopes of good weather before going out that night.
