Has anyone tried this stuff? I picked up the apple and bourbon at goodwood hardware today. I opened them up for a smell when I got home and about yacked. I hope they taste better than they smell.

I have only tried the pecan rub, great on grilled chicken.

I actually like the JH line of rubs. I mostly use the pecan and hot pecan. The hot pecan is hard to find but I add cayenne to the regular pecan to get the desired heat. Plus I only use it on ribs.

Just try some on your finger and see how it taste, I bet it is fine.

Tried some raw. It is very sweet and could be overpowering. I guess I'll give it a shot but I'm concerned.
