I guarantee that he did. I wasn’t trying to give him an exact amount. I was giving him a 100% foolproof method that was super easy, was absolutely not going to run out of rice, that was going to be about $1 more than if he had made an exact amount. He probably had about 1/3 - 1/4 of a pan leftover that could have gotten thrown away with no guilt.
You are welcome bro! I use that recipe all the time when I make gumbo and red/white beans and rice for a crowd.

I did. Bout half a pan but it’s just rice. Bagged up and given away with leftover gumbo. Came out perfect.
