Is this the year we finally see a tipping point of too many Nola restaurants?

NOLA's present population is younger, more affluent, and far more likely to dine out than the city's residents were 20 years ago. Daily home cooking is a thing of the past for most affluent households of under-35s...they cook recreationally and occasionally. (This is the same demographic that will argue that dining out is actually cheaper than shopping/cooking, because they lack home economics skills in re: food prep, value shopping, meal planning, etc.)

Between the boatloads of AirBnB tourists, hotel-based tourists, and non-cooks, the restaurants will be full...though August will show us who's undercapitalized.
