Cottonwood

Was in Houston a couple Saturdays ago with the family. Wife starts searching good, relaxing lunch places and finds good reviews for Cottonwood. I see all the beer offerings and wonder if a bar is kid-friendly, but she read the review about kids being welcome in the afternoons and a playground nearby. Who was I to argue?

We ate outside under the patio. I had, what I believe, to be the best burger I've tried in Houston so far. Had real heat peppers and great medium rare flavor.

The squirl master burger at Cottonwood is pretty awesome. The chicken fried steak bites are damn good too.

tonys mex restaurant

Someone gave you great advice. It's never listed on this board because I assume people just give you the same places they see on here. There is a reason Tony's has been around forever. Also check out Rainbow Lodge for seafood and wild game. It's on the same street.
