Technically a lot of foods we eat have soluble metals. That stuff is so paper thin it won't harm your digestive tract. And it's kind of cool to say you're eating gold. It's becoming a fairly common albeit expensive garnish at some top notch places.

Minerals in order of abundance in the human body include the seven major minerals calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. Important "trace" or minor minerals, necessary for mammalian life, include iron, cobalt, copper, zinc, molybdenum, iodine, and selenium -wiki
