Tried it for the first time tonight at a Jamaican place in the neighborhood. Even if this is place makes below average oxtail (and I have no idea), I am so glad I tried it. The marrow flavor was a nice surprise and everything just melted off the bone. The rice that accompanied it was much closer to a dirty rice, which was a nice surprise because it reminded me of a rice mix I might find in southern Louisiana.
If you haven't tried Jamaican Oxtail, be adventurous and try it. That is all.

Oxtail pho is the goat. Most tender flavorful beef there is.
