HGG Restaurant Review - Bistecca (Houston, TX)

Short and sweet :: the food and service were both kick arse. The place was very loud and very upbeat so I would suggest this place as a spot to eat before you are going out or plan to continue your party afterwards. Our server, Dennis, was from Rio and was as cheerful and punctual as ever.
For appetizers we got the Lobster Bisque and the tableside Beef Tartare...both were very delicious. The Bisque was not overwhelmed with whipping cream and had a surprisingly generous portion of lobster meat inside. The Tartare was minced and was extremely flavorful.
For entrees we got 3 things, all were kick arse. Off the menu specials (1) which was seabass, a king crab leg and a jumbo shrimp served over lemon risotto, (2) Herb crusted strip loin with lobster purses and spring mushrooms and a menu item (3) domestic lamb chops.
See pics down below which include their menu for the curious folks:

Nice review, I'd go all Jameis Winston on the crab leg.

Nice review. I've only been for lunch and really enjoyed it. Need to get there for dinner sometime.

I would tear all that up, thanks for sharing.

I'm so happy there are restaurants like this to keep the foodiematicians out of the real restaurants.

If it gets you a faster table at Outback, we're happy to help out.
