I’ve smoked a half chub, if you’re gonna go for it, get a good bologna. I don’t think smoking it adds much to it flavor wise. I didn’t feel like the smoke penetrated into the center, and the rub and bark kind of disappears once it’s sliced on sandwich, but if you like fried bologna sandwiches you’ll probably like it.
