Went a few years ago. It is crowded and not as nice as I expected. That being said, it is a cool experience.

I will have to think about where we went and repost later. If you get tired of The Hamptons, drive out to Montauk...way relaxed and a few cool bar spots on the north side, overlooking the ocean.

Navy Beach & Duryea's in Montauk - close to one another, so you can grab drinks & apps at both.

Go every year. Almond is pretty delicious, and there is a restaurant in Sag Harbor that has an amazing view. I'll ask my friend for some good recs (she has a house up there).

What part are you staying in?

Staying in a house we rented on Blackwatch Court (I think). Sister and husband live on Long Island, they set up trip.

Thx for the Montauk advice, much appreciated

So Southampton. The restaurant in Sg Harbor I was thinking about is called Beacon.

If you are going to travel to go eat or sight see, make sure you do it during the week. The traffic is like Baton Rouge on Friday-Sunday.
