my habanero plant was about to start fruiting and i took the bold move to prune it to make it even bushier. may be bad timing on my part and i probably should have let it ride

I never prune my pepper plants. I do pinch the first blossoms though. I also add compost (egg shells/banana peels etc) to the dirt all off season. Always yields massive amounts of peppers each year.

Inside until they sprouted, then outside except for cold nights (<40F).
