At first read it sounds like it would be disgusting. However, since I love spicy things I had to give it a try. The bartender used habanero infused tequila to make the margaritas. I must say it was really delicious and I have found myself craving them since. I may need to find myself a recipe on how to make those things.

Anyone else ever try one?

I had jalapeño margaritas at Z Tejas in Austin about 10 years ago. Theirs were not infused tequila, though. They used fresh jalapeños blended into the margarita. When I got home spent a while trying to replicate, and was never successful.

I think the infused method would make it much easier to replicate.

I already found one potential recipe.

I've had a jalapeno caipirinha. It was great, surprisingly

I'd like to try a spicy margarita. Will probably make that recipe sometime soon/find one near me
