Seasoned pure cornmeal only for me. I also like them crunchy. I vary the seasonings, but usually salt, pepper and cayenne.

Question for all the people using mustard. Do you put yellow mustard in with your egg and milk or do you use yellow mustard in place of the egg and milk?

Can the same thing be done for frying shrimp?

2 eggs, 1/2 a dark beer, and yellow mustard for wash

corn meal, pepper, salt, cayeene, and a little garlic powder.

golden brown in peanut oil.

yes,

I just put a small amount and coat the shrimp with it, use a flour based breading and I like it that way.
