to others:

Not sure why someone would think I was part of the problem. I brought them business and didn't go in looking for a free meal. I was asked how my meal was and I replied. I guess I could have sugar-coated it and said it was the greatest epicurean experience of my life.

50 times over ten years is like 5 times a year. Ugh, so? I eat out probably half the year anyway, so who cares?

this was my thought also...when they asked what he'd like to order for dinner, i guess he simply said "food", expecting them to know that too.
