Going to the Great Wolf Lodge with the wife and our two kids in May. Will also be staying in the inner loop downtown near the Aquarium. What is good to eat?

Are kids old enough to enjoy a fine meal? Or are you wanting places a bit more casual?

Not sure what you're looking for but dinner theatre off main street in grapevine is decent food and good entertainment. What kind of food/atmosphere?

Don’t talk like that. Seriously.

You’ve got posters on this board that genuinely care about your well-being and battle with cancer and you talk like that, tell someone to go kill themselves??

While in Grapevine.....go to meat u anywhere bbq. It’s kind of a hidden gem. 100% try the jalapeño cheese sausage.

There is also a deli in the downtown grapevine that makes killer sammiches.

Pecan Lodge or Lockhart for BBQ if your over in Dallas.

Meddlesome Moth is a good small plate place.

These would be my must hits off the top of my head, but there are plenty more. Just let me know what you're looking for and I can suggest something specific to that. This list would give you a pretty good idea of the food scene in Dallas that is always pretty underrated.

Rodeo Goat in the design district for burgers
Lockhart or pecan lodge for BBQ. Pecan lodge will have a wait unless you make it there before they open and get ahead in the line. Lockhart won't have a wait and is just as good IMO.
Braindead brewing in deep ellum. Cool brew pub with some good food. All kinds of stuff.
Rapscallion on lowest Greenville. Southern food in a slightly upscale place.
CBD Provisions. On main Street downtown. The entire menu is great, but their know for the pigs head carnitas.
Hattie's in bishop arts. Southern food with white tablecloth. Great brunch here too. Friend chicken is great.
Boulevardier in bishop arts is owned by the same group as Rapscallion, but is their French place. Another great brunch there as well.
The Grape is fine dining, but it's a loud and laid back small bistro. The food is incredible and get the mushroom soup.
John's cafe on lowest greenville or Oasis cafe further north on Greenville. Classic diners for breakfast or lunch. Oasis is cash only.

Mexican/Tex Mex and the like
Mia's on lemmon. Classic Tex Mex with great brisket tacos
Meso maya downtown. True Mexican. A little upscale and very good.
Desperados on Greenville. My favorite in the city. Crabmeat enchiladas are incredible.
Revolver Taco in deep ellum. Awesome tacos.

I second this one. Their fried chicken is especially good. Along with everything else I’ve had there.

Yeah the Rapscallion rotisserie chicken is great. It’s definitely overpriced though, imo. I think it’s like $35 for a whole chicken.

I had a steak there that was incredible though.

Here a few recommendations from me that have t already been listed. These are pretty casual places in Uptown/Lower Greenville/Deep Ellum.

Ramen
Wabi House - Lower Greenville
Tanoshii - Deep Ellum

Burgers
Pints & Quarts - Centrum off of Oak Lawn
Stackhouse - Deep Ellum kind of

Japanese
Teppo - Lower Greenville, only open for dinner. But more of a serious atmosphere.

Pizza
Cane Rosso- Deep Ellum, sit down restaurant
Greenville Avenue Pizza Company - to-go slices
