Angelo's and Riskys are the two standards but if I were you I'd go to

Railhead BBQ in the cultural district or Coopers in the stockyards. Doesn't get much better than those. Can't go wrong with any of the above

thanks...Angelo's for dinner....perhaps Railhead or Cooper tomorrow....any particular cut at Angelo's better than others?

Angelo's must be a lunch spot...just got back from dinner, not busy, brisket/ribs old and dry...hot link good...ranch beans great...cold moon mugs of beer spot on... allot of these bbq places quality depends on when they are busy and food is fresher....salt lick at 6:30pm is far superior

Ugh, hate to hear that.

It's been ages since I've been in the evening; you're right, it draws a massive lunch crowd.
