Another breakfast item...eggs and pate. Very cheap and good...only 45 cents per plate. Dip that bread in that sauce and wash it down with a fresh sugar cane. Awesome.

This is a shop specializing in clams, snails, and escargot. The lady in the white is running the show. She just sits there and keeps track of who's ordering what during the night.

Some kind of oval clams steamed with basil and lemongrass.

Escargot in lemongrass, garlic, and chili.

razor clam in some sweet sauce. We had to get another order of this.

All around $15. A bit on the high end for a meal in VN.

This is a random shop that we stopped by. During the day, it would be this empty corner lot. At night, they just plug in some lights, throw out some small plastic tables and chairs and you get an eating establishment. Also, they're equipped with outdoor umbrella stands so light rain won't be a problem.

Sauteed frog with vegetables...along with a "genuine" Pepsi cola.

conch salad.

Also, the wait staff doesn't work for tips so you can call on any of them as they wall by your table. And boy, they hustle and are fast. Total meal about 12 bucks.
