Finally ditched the teflon for a ceramic frying pan in the mornings.

Picked up the “Green Pan” and a new fish spatula and what a difference with my egg game in the mornings. Cooked some bacon to check for hot or cold spots, and did very well at distributing the heat evenly. Well balanced, sits flat, super light, is also conduction compatible, and supposedly you’re able to use metal utensils as well, but the finish is really superb. Eggs were a breeze to push around, and so I can imagine pancakes, crepes, and sandwiches would be quite effortless, especially with the fairly evenly distribution of heat.
Big difference IMO from my teflon non stick pans, and metal handle as well as ceramic coating allows me to brown on stovetop, and finish in the oven, even at higher temps. I doubt it could ever touch my cast or carbon steel for that kind of stuff, but it’s worth mentioning, and it also comes with a lid if you like.
Pretty cool stuff. Just thought I’d pass it along if anyone’s in the market for a new non stick pan. Might want to give it a look see.

I’ve had one for awhile that I only use for eggs. Great pan, just make sure you don’t use any nonstick spray. Olive oil/butter is best
