Wendy's. The fact that you can get burgers and chicken tips the scales for me.

Popeye's destroys Wendy's. They are looking like the favorite as of now.

To me, Popeye's by a whisker. Love their chicken and shrimp po-boys, but Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich is really good too.

My ole man was born in Winnfield. How goes it up there these days?

We love Winnfield. Big enough that nobody gets in your business (usually lol), but small enough that there is no traffic. High school sports were pretty good this year. Football lost in 1st round, basketball was thisclose to top 28 (edged by Patterson at Patterson). Baseball had a difficult year. Great folks up here though. Come see us sometime

Yeah, y'all do have a very friendly town. Dad's health hasn't been the best for him to travel, but he still loves to embrace his roots and go vist his corner of the state.
Anthony Thomas...man, why did he ever leave LA?
The last time I was in Winnfield was in 1993. I was living in Monroe at the time and Dad and I couldn't get the LSU/Vandy JP game in the NELA market. So, we drove to the Best Western in Winnfield and watched vandy beat us down, but the hotel was nice enough and I don't remember from where, but I had a helluva milkshake that lasted the entire game.
