Provence is as previously mentioned is the quintessential Rose and in this general area closer to the coast.

Bandol is the most famous area there for it.

To be honest with you I think most Provence Roses are fairly similar. There aren’t many that are of some insane different quality

The most famous is Chateau d’Esclans Whispering Angel. Very famous wine and you can find it anywhere for like $20. It’s a perfectly good Rose.

D’Esclans also makes some higher end Roses like Garrus but there is no way on earth I’m paying 100+ for Rose so I haven’t had it. It’s very highly rated though

In a google search, I saw several in the know types recommend D’Esclans as I mentioned but also highly recommend Tempier and Cibonne
