It's a top notch brew for sure. I've had it both on tap and in bottles and both are excellent. Probably my favorite Green Flash so far out of the four or so I've tried. Nice abv with right amount of hops.

Steen's and brown sugar.

In place of the Belgian candi sugar.

It gives it a little of the molasses/sweet flavor but the Belgian yeast still makes it more of a dubbel rather than an old ale or something sweet like that.

This one is around 8% so it's not in the Belgian strong category.
