NBD: Peche Mortel

Thanks Kim!
Damn this beer is good. Top notch stout for sure. Glad I got to try it.

Peche Mortel is good stuff. I've had it on tap a couple of times and will buy it again, if I see it...

It hits the shelves here from time to time. I'll see if I can find some for a future BXN box.

1+2 BD were Nola Rebirth PAs @ Happy's happy hour. Two pints for $6 bucks .. solid deal.

Holy malt bomb. Has a lot of grapefruit and citrus going on which is decent, but for a self-styled DIPA it's not hop forward at all. Really uneven flavor and a weak, watery finish. Not truly terrible, but bad enough that I'm glad I just have a one-off that somebody left in my ice chest over the weekend.

Can someone give me some recs for good places to drink beer in San Francisco?

Loved Tornado Bar. Total dive, great tap list. Had Bourbon County Stout, Pliny, Double Jack, Sculpin, etc. on tap last July when I was there.
