Favorite Spot, Sat Night Before Saints game in the Dome on Sunday.

Title says it all really, whatcha got?
Going with some friends the weekend of the Giants game, trying to make reservations if needed and couldn't decide on a Sat night dinner spot. Good food and a spot to people watch afterwards with a few drinks? Am I better off not picking one spot for both? I typically avoid the city night before games, I assume the visitors still swam Jackson Square and Bourbon?
Eat somewhere then a favorite balcony to people watch and drink?

Cane and Table in the quarter then the sports bar across the street has a balcony.

Unless a new place recently opened in that spot the sports bar across the street closed down awhile back.
