I had heard that either Nola or Lazy Magnolia was tied in with the Southern Eagle(Budweiser distributor)folks and was making life hell for abita by taking alot of taps locally.
I really don't think Abita is hurting too much as NOLA doesn't have bottles yet and NOLA really isn't really making a push outside of this area yet. I get Abita's facebook and email updates and they are having parties/tastings, etc all over the country.
I am a fan of all of them. The more local/regional stuff, the better.

Southern Eagle has been very pro active with the craft market in terms of taps. They have some of the best tap service to bars around town.
Lazy Mag is the one that SE reps. Nola attempted to jump to SE after some issues with Glazers, but those bumps have been smoothed out.
The issue with Glazers is, as someone asked earlier, is the lack of a cold storage house. A lot of beers are bottle conditioned (and i'm not keen on all the logistics of this), which means the beers go through their last stages of maturation in the bottle (yeast, grains, etc). Glazer's can't do it so thus NOLA can't bottle I think. That issue is holding back a lot of things with other brews trying to get in the state as well. You would think Glazer's would drop 100k (just guessing) and get the cold storage area and triple their beer output. As I have been told though, beer doesn't really make that much money in the long run.
