I still have a gas stovetop... is there a way to
Switch to stovetop? And can someone tell how long it should take. I got 2.5 hours on low (was going to be a 7 hour cook).
I live in NOLA, so I thought my power would come on quickly, but no:(

Thanks for the input. I have electrical controls to my oven so that won’t work :(

I deleted. I was thinking you might have a gas stove, but then realized you must not.
You could put them on low on the stovetop in a covered pot. Up the heat if you need to speed things up. Might have to add more liquids periodically.

Ok thanks! By liquids you mean more beef broth? And any idea how long it would take on the stovetop compared to a. Slow cooker?

You might want to look up some recipes for stove top versions to get a good idea on temp and time.
