So after reading the food board talk up Sous Vide I'm curious. What do I need to get started, what are the basics? I've watched some videos so I get how it works but what is the recommended setup?

You need the device that maintains the temperature of the water (Anova is the most popular brand), a vacuum sealer/bags, water, and a large bucket or container.

You can save your money and use your bath tub. Draw a nice bath and throw a brisket in the tub for 67 hours give or take. The key is to add some hot water every six hours.
