It makes a world of difference grinding your own beans. You can really smell and taste the difference.

I got mine as a gift so not sure how much it cost. I think it's a Cuisinart? I know it is quite compact and doesn't take up a whole lot of real estate in my kitchen.

meh, once you move the coffeemaker of the counter, and grinder and french press take up no more room. Also, easier to put away than full sized coffeemaker.
