i had it tonight on a recommendation.. ordered to go as i didnt feel like spending time out for dinner... it was a decent price $11 bucks... and wasn't a terrible pizza... but the first bite of each slice tasted like stale beer.... what that a mistake? or does every pizza they make taste like that??? it was almost like the poured beer on the center of the pizza... the outer edges didnt have that flavor.

I've heard great things about their pizza but never had it. I always get there and order something else.

i dont think i would order it and sit down... but its a good meal when you dont feel like cookig anything like i did

Maybe it was a touch undercooked.
I know that when I unwrap a raw Papa Murphy's pizza, I get an overwhelming beer smell.
either way, DiGiulio's pizza is money.

Bread dough/pizza crust is a mixture of flour, water and yeast. The interaction makes CO2 which give the leaven(rise) and alcohol. Your pizza was undercooked.

I don't understand when people go there and order pizza in the first place. It makes me think of a 10 year old at dinner.

i didnt sit down... i called it in and got it to go.... hopefully you approve of that.

yea i dont get that either... but honestly i didnt know it was there until a year or so into college... never really went down that way... they shoulda put flyers up around campus or something

I've pretty sure they use Bud heavy when making their dough...
