I always just go with the French Dip when outside of Louisiana. Typically a safe and tasty choice.

Calliope’s French bread is custom-baked in the style of the traditional Leidenheimer recipe—crunchy on the outside and soft inside.

Calliope’s is the spot for sure. They’ve got that drive-thru tho...and delivery via DoorDash and Uber Eats. Not sure I’d plan to eat in their “dining room”.
