If you order more than a certain amount, something like 4 or 5 pounds, you can cut straight to the register. Nice when you have a group of 5 or more. Someone always seems to get agitated when go straight to the register.

It's one of the best BBQ places in the country. They open at 11 and if you're there at 10:30, you're fine. Or go later in the day, you're fine, but they might be out of stuff.
Lockhart never has a wait though and it's great stuff too.
I would figure when I could get in and out yeah. Not saying I would not get some. I am a BBQ nut
REG861 - An hour wait for good bbq isn't that bad. Franklin and the all day tailgate is where I'll draw the line.
It's not just BBQ, just in general.

Pecan Lodge is legit. I am from Texas and i have eaten at all the biggies and Pecan Lodge ranks with the best of them. If you are going on a Saturday i suggest showing up an hour before they open and get in line. Order the beef rib it's the best BBQ meat i have ever put in my mouth. Also if you want to avoid the line they do pick up orders over $50. Bring you wallet the place is not cheap but well worth it.

What’s funny? Have you even been there?
I’m sure there will be some reason to discredit this list, but pecan lodge is up there for this guy. Along with cattleack which is also fantastic.
