Liquid boil contains spice extracts aka essential oils...are you being sarcastic?

I'm assuming all yall saying the flavor is going to evaporate away are the ones being sarcastic.

Guess the downvoters are taking Bug Ac's word from a post about brewing beer to have any relevance to boiling seafood

So a "consensus" of one guy, and even sixthandbarone thinks it's silly and not noticeable.

That’s why I stay close to the pot…I soak up all that flavor as an appetizer.

I add all ingredients at the beginning of the boil including 64oz Cajun Land spices and approximately 3-4ozs Zatarains liquid crab boil. In general, crawfish have a nice spicey taste but not overpowering. I normally soak my crawfish 30 minutes after killing the boil and cooling pot and boiling equipment to prevent excess cooking. As I've gotten older, I no longer strive to have the spiciest crawfish as I did in my younger age...

I've read so many debates about this but probably no significant difference in adding at the end of boil before soaking...

I would try adding additional liquid boil and see how that works...

I'm not making any claims to flavors "evaporating"... That does not make any sense.

BugAC didn't just make that up. He gave sources.

Brewing beer and boiling seafood both involve adding essential oils...Why don't you think that it's relevant?

Again, I'm not making any claims that adding liquid boil at a certain time makes a drastic difference. But I can also acknowledge that boiling essential oils has an impact on the flavor of the oil. How much impact is up for debate.
