For cracklins, Charlie T's in Breaux Bridge is absolutely the best I've ever had. (They have some real nice chicken and green onion sausage, too.)

you obviously haven't been to Scott. I'm lafayette area and have tried Bergeron's boudin & cracklin.......my take was horrible

Chicken on the Bayou is off of I10. They cook cracklin when you order. Always seems fresh. No heat lamp.

Henderson exit going to Lafayette. Take a right when you get off the exit ramp and it's a little store on the left.
