Very cool cutlery shop in NOLA. My son is a senior in high school and has been accepted to The John Folse Culinary Institue at Nicholls St. Instead of getting a senior ring, he wanted to start building his own knife set. He found this shop. Owner is also a graduate of Nicholls St. Culinary program. She specializes in eastern style blades. Y’all need to stop in an take a peek.

Yeah...but I sure didn’t spend that! But it’s still a better investment than a damn $500 senior ring that’ll probably wind up on a girlfriend’s necklace!!

My son read the owners story and wanted to meet her. Also, being that he will be in culinary school using these knives often, it was best him to handle and feel what’s best for him.

But all the cool kids are doing it so its gotta be worth. Same knives, same knife makers, less money. Chef ripping off chefs I think its a shame...
