Cool bars in Jackson, MS?

Any suggestions? We moved here recently and have been striking out. Only placed we've found that are worth a damn are Fondren Public and Finians.
Oh, and any suggestions on where to watch football on Saturdays and Sundays?

The Char bar isn't bad actually. Same with saltines. Martins on the weekend when a good band is playing.
The library is a very chill and small bar
Shuckers for a little trashiness
There's also a Bulldog in Jackson but it's not near on the level as the ones in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. But nonetheless, it's there. Decent place for some beer and sports

Apothecary is badass. It’s a speak easy-style place in the back of a soda bar. Very dark. All in-house, homemade mixed drinks.
