I’m gonna be there for a few nights this week on travel. Where’s some cool local joints to grub. Good atmosphere, drinks/beer on tap, of course good food. TIA.

Unfortunately, Largo sucks. Just a short drive/Uber to St. Pete beach from there though. Caddy's is a nice hangout spot on the beach if you're here on the weekend. Also just a short ride to Ferg's which is right across the street from The Trop. Really cool sports bar during Rays season, but not sure what it has going on during a normal week with no baseball.

Yes Largo sucks.
Went to Frenchy’s on the beach in Clearwater last eve and was legit fresh tuna stuffed avocados and grouper fresh tacos, also side of raw oysters that were ok. Shocktop was only $2.50 on tap, live music and wife enjoyed the rum runners there.
Might try head to St Pete tonight? Heard about plenty breweries there... 3 Daughters?

I've never been to Frenchy's, but heard it was a decent hangout spot. If you want to have a nice dinner on St Pete beach check out "Spinner's". Its on top of the Grand Plaza hotel and revolves so you get a really nice view of the entire beach/city for dinner. Food is decent, but the views are why you do it. Nice day today too, so should be pretty nice around sunset.
