I am genuinely shocked at the responses so far.
I thought chocolate would win by about a 3-1 margin.

Do you have a hand crank or an electric? My wife has two White Mountain electrics and she make homemade vanilla about once a month. More so now that it is getting hot. Add some ripe bananna's to it.

Martini, we used the old hand cranks when I was a kid, but now it's just too easy to load it, pour salt and plug it in.. One of my favorite flavors for later on in the summer is cantalope ice cream.. The wife makes it and it has a fresh, but rich flavor. It also has a lot of Eagle Brand in it too, so it has to taste good..

yep. I remember those summer days, because fishing and "tamale days" were the only times I ever saw my father drinking beer!! I had my first brew with a tamale from Joes..
