There's a ton of meat on their turkeys. It always seems to me their turkeys are meatier than those in the grocery. I get lots of meat from a 7 lb turkey.

I've never ordered a 15 lb bird, but if I needed one that size, the price isn't bad in my mind, for the quality I'm getting and I don't have to smoke it myself.

Yeah, we get the 10# every year which is really ample for our size family. I eat leftover sandwiches for a month and love it

I'm partial to that turkey with bacon on rye bread with Durkee's sandwich spread. I look forward to it every holiday season.

I kin'da like turkey and mine is never dry. We have it more often than you suggest. Normally it is a pretty good buy and IMO, makes the base for a tasty meal.

I can't remember ever complaining about one we cooked, especially when dressing and nice sides were also on the table.

I have never purchased a precooked bird, so that may impact my opinion.

When I was at LSU my pops would have a Greenberg shipped to my apt. Me & roomies would munch on it for what seemed like weeks. Taste got old toward the end. Using it for gumbo is a great idea. We weren’t quite so advanced at the time lol.
