Saw the following post on Coquette's Facebook page and it got me thinking about having a chef's table in the comfort of my own home. I know there are weekly meal services out there like Blue Apron but is there anything that will just ship me a box of ingredients to make a one time meal, similar to a chef's table? Living in rural Louisiana makes it rather difficult to find anything out of the ordinary at our local grocery stores and none of the restaurants here offer anything close to this.

In lieu of the times we’re working hard to keep ourselves inspired and guests intrigued! So….we’ve decided to reengineer one of our most popular Coquette dining formats to your table (your literal table at home) a little early. We hope that you will appreciate our new offering this week of “No Menu; Takeout Edition”. We started our No Menu Tuesday dinners six years ago as a way to make one of our slowest summer nights, Tuesdays, at Coquette a busy night that was fun, fresh and delicious for both us and you!

Each week the theme will be announced on Tuesday, pre-ordering of packages will be available Wednesday thru Thursday (via our website), and your pickup can be scheduled for Friday or Saturday. No Menu; Takeout Edition will be a 4 course dinner for two people. The menu won’t be revealed until you pick up your bag and start unpacking it! Everything will be easily plated or heated and will come with detailed descriptions and photos. #nolaopen ##coquettetogo #nomenu #takeoutedition #neworleans

We’re excited to announce that this weeks theme will be…”Spring in Paris”. There are few better times to be in France than springtime, but since none of us are going anywhere, anytime soon, let us transport you there with a meal that you can bring you a taste of France in your own home.

Our Wine Guy, Ryan Plas, will have 3 different price tiers of wine that will pair with the meal and we hope to include a special surprise with each weeks offering.

Our current to-go model will continue to be available Thursday thru Sunday as well, with seasonal changes made as we make it thru the week. Please check out the link in our bio for more information.

Some of the vendors for restaurants (produce, seafood, meat, wine, etc...) have started an option that you can buy direct on line.

I would think someone has connected the dots and offered an option where you place one order from them and they source all the ingredients from the vendors.
