What are the distributors selling them for this week? We bought from a friend of a friend Thursday at $3lb. Just curious what the typical markup was from the distributor to the seafood shops... Everybody has to make their money yano

farmers are getting 2.00 right now

Damn. We be getting raped in BR. That's why I love buying off the boats in the spillway.. They don't get shite compared to what the final price is at the seafood shop

Eta: excellent size for this time of year.. Or any for that matter. The bugs we had Thursday were one of the better sacks I've ever had size and quality wise.. Large and tender. Yesterday was a mixed bag med-large. But they were tender as well. Like I said, very pleased with the sacks we got

Not many people fishing the spillway yet... It's hard to get em to sell when they are struggling to meet their quota for their buyer.. (he buys all the time... You're a once in a while guy... It's a better business decision for him to fill his quota for the buyer over making a few extra bucks)

Didn't want u to make a trip and strike out

Eta: it's always wise to keep cash on you when fishing.. U never know when it's gonna be a shitty day and you can go home and eat a sack of oysters or boil some crawfish, crabs or shrimp u get off a boat

I think it was almost $16 for 3 lbs boiled last time I went, included potatoes and corn. This is at a restaurant.
