re: cheap, but good, poor man's meal

Good suggestions everyone.
I also started making fried rice lately. It's cheap, fast, good, easy.
2 eggs
a few frozen skrimp
peas
some ginger(seriously)
black pepper
rice
soy sauce
butter
onion
medium-high to high heat..let skillet heat up first. throw in the butter and the onions. Brown them for a while.
Throw in the shrimp, continue browning (add soy sauce if you notice sticking/burning)
scramble the eggs and toss them in here (all while stirring the whole time)
Add the rice, seasonings, some soy sauce. Increase the heat a little bit and keep stirring.
When you are happy about the color of the rice and notice that the grains are a bit seared you're ready to eat.
