Why would anyone dump on Cane's? A local guy comes up with a restaurant concept and makes it work. The product is good and it gives you more choices. I don't eat there more than about once a year only because of the calories.
My nephew works there and he likes, my son worked at the original when he 1st opened and said Todd was a pretty stand up guy.
I don't prefer chains, but glad to see Cane's succeed.

look I understand the price increase as the market changes but keep the portions the same if you're gonna jack the price up....idk that's just my take

I'm not dumping on Todd. I just don't see what's so great about it. It's fattening and the smell of it makes me gag. And the quality has gone down the drain.

A once local guy steals a restaurant concept, lets his quality of product degrade even before he expands, expands and then moves the restaurant away from his local roots.
Sounds like every other chain in the world, who cares if it succeeds now? Nothing wrong with trying to make more money, but if you aren't even going to keep that money local....
