burning clean?
The last time i used this burner for my smoker it left the meat black, not burnt, bc the flame was not burning clean. I worked on it today. Would you say this flame is burning clean? I would think i need more of a blue flame even when its running high

IMO it has to much air in the mixture. Reduce the air intake. Is that all the pressure you got??? You are looking for a blue flame that 'sits' on the burner.

You sure that's not a NG burner running propane or the other way around?
I had a hardware store sell me a NG burner once that I ran propane through and it did the same.
