WTF is it?

If I cut it off, can I still steam & eat it?

its probably mold. cauliflower is very susceptible to mold, as are melons and berries.

i usually by cauliflower and eat it the same day because of this. and even when i do that, im getting some mold. i just try to keep it to a minimum.
