Was I the only one who thought this show kind of blew? Maybe Food Network should have done it so they could have actually gotten more into the process of making the beer and less about the idiocy in and around the brewery. That's just me though...

I didn't think it was horrible, but he tried way to hard to be funny. I have little interest in "reality shows" like this. I'd much rather it be a more informational show, but then they probably couldn't make it into a series.

Ouch. It wasn't really that bad. I think they'll have plenty of time to go into the finer details.

If they had taken as much time to explain some of the beer-making process as they wasted on their annoying Yo, Dogfishhead Raps routine, the show may have actually not been a total waste of time.

Ok, I agree about that. It added nothing to the show. Seems like something an experienced show would do a good ways into it. Kind of like how mythbusters had a very serious first season

I wasn't that impressed with the show either. It was terribly faked and it showed almost nothing of the brewing process. I felt like there should have been an introduction show instead of jumping right in. Maybe it will be better next time. Also it would be great if we could actually go out and buy the beer that they were going to showcase in the episode. Over Christmas I will be able to go to one of the brew pubs if not the brewery on the show date. I imagine that would be cool.
