Boston Italian/ Steak House recommendations

Headed up today for a sox game and little vacation. Looking for some good recs for Italian food and/or steak houses around the city. Any interesting things to as well would be greatly appreciated.

Mamma Maria for Italian if you can get in. Giacomo’s if you’re willing to stand in line for a while (they don’t take reservations).
If you want a steakhouse, I guess go to Grill 23 or Abe & Louie’s. But I can recommend much better non-steakhouse options. You can go to a steakhouse in pretty much any city.

We went to Mama Maria last summer. It was pretty badass.
