I had blue oak for lunch Saturday at the store front. The ribs are some of the best i have ever had. The brisket is better than average. The Texan in me just needs to stay away from brisket outside of Texas.

we ate there sunday after the pels game.
i thought the brisket was good to excellent, the ribs and sausage excellent, and the wings just so-so...they weren't all that exciting on the plate after all the hype they've gotten here

for sides, mac/cheese & sprouts excellent, slaw and beans mediocre

I ate there before going to the Pelicans game. Ribs were very, very good. Brisket also very good. I did not care for any of the 3 sauces. Mac and cheese just ok. Beans were very good. All around, very good, but I think I like Central Ciy BBQ better.
