I went last night and the service was awful. It took 20+ minutes to get a beer, every time. The food was mediocre at best, although I think the people I was with enjoyed the pizza more than I enjoyed my burger. In fact, I really got a burger po-boy... not sure if that's their thing, but I wasn't going to question it because it would have been another 30 minutes before my correct item got there. Or maybe it said in the menu that the 'burgers' were served on poboy bread and I missed it.

The beer was good, though. Definitely wouldn't mind going back, sitting at the bar and watching a game.

Just got back from this place. The mashed potatoes were just plain terrible. The parmesan chicken was pretty good though. The beers were alright. I had the Pale Ale and the Porter. My friend and I had a full pitcher of water spilled on us at our table and didn't have to pay. One of the waitresses started crying at the table and our ladies tried to console her. It did take for ever for them to split the check when it was getting late and the place was damn near empty. Someone needs to save this place badly.

Why do you people continue to goto this place when there are 10 threads on here about how bad it is?

It was my friend's birthday and he wanted to go, and sometimes you need to see for yourself.

b/c it's called brewhouse and some of us have to go shopping with the woman... so eating there gives us an excuse to drink.

I've only been twice though, but it helps if I have to go to the mall, then I say well lets just go get some beers afterwards... we can walk. The pizza is actually pretty good. I think I will stick to pizza and the spring rolls and beer... I'm sure I'll be there for a few saints games this fall.

why? get there when they open at 11 and grab a seat at the bar. I eat at the bar at a lot of restaurants... bartenders have to be more experienced in service and plus they are always in your sight so you just have to call their name if you want something.

Did anyone else read the menu?? They have a lot of items but started out as a PIZZA place.. There is no coincidence that the people that like the the place ate the pizza and the people that done had a sandwich of some sort. They make good pizza and beer thats their thing everything else is just menu fillers.

I guess they didnt have to pay for the water

I have heard alot about the service being bad and the only bad thing that happend to me on two visits was taking a while to get the check and having spinach dip go to wrong table..

What's the deal with the waitresses dropping food and drinks over there. My girlfriend went with a couple of friends the other day and she said the waitress dropped an entire pizza on the floor right as she was making it to the table.

What kinda of dress would be good for this place? Would I be out of place if I had on shorts with an LSU shirt and flip flops?

I enjoy the pizza, spring roll apps.... been there 2x, and ordered the pizza the 2nd time(it was pretty damned good and the only thing I will get from now on). I would consider myself a chain hater but I want this place to succeed. It will have high waitstaff turnover like all chains (especially of its size) but like I said earlier we sit at the bar at most "casual" places and it is much better... b/c you get individualized service. I look forward to going back and getting more pizza... it's 2 days worth of meals.

"I want this place to succeed."

ditto... that's why I made this thread.

want to see them do well.

they just need to up the service and they got themselves a winner.

they already got a bad rep around BR in the first month of them opening...

a "mall" restaurant that is a chain will always attract people that

A. don't have a clue what they are going to do and just graduated high school, not sure if they want to continue school.

or

B. Dont' have a clue what they are going to do while they are in school

or

C. need money while they are in school.

or

D. Don't have a clue, just need money to buy booze and drugs.

This is a potenial gold mine for BR... they just need to watch the turnover and have good management so that they can maintain some continuity with the service.

But location, location, location says they won't fail.
