Looking for a nice dinner doesn’t matter if expensive.

Casino beach is my go to. Marlin is good. Hemingway’s is nice, but the food imo is not consistent. Jackson’s steak house in pcola main is really good.

Jackson's Steak House in P'cola. Also Urban Cookhouse and Global Grill are very good.

They said nice dinner....

The first 2 qualify, but the rest of this bunch... not so much, imo..

PS. Food at McGuires is nasty.

I'll agree with Jackson's, Grand Marlin, Dharma Blue, and Fish House. Global is good, Peg Leg Pete's is good but crowded. I could also suggest Skopelo's, South Market, Five Sister's, or Jaco's.

Finally, while McGuire's has been mentioned, it really boils down to what you order. You'll be hard pressed to find a better steak or prime rib, but some of their stuff can be a little pricey and you will wait in line on the weekend.

Ultimately, you have ton's of options just research it and go with what you are in the mood for.

I was going to mention 5 Sisters, but that's one of my go to brunch stops instead of dinner.

5 sisters definitely has a spot on brunch. I'm curious about Urban Cookhouse that you mentioned earlier. I've not heard of that one, I'm always looking for new places to try.

I've only eaten at Urban Cookhouse once, because it was the last night before my daughter moved from P'cola.... but it was excellent, and I have since regretted we didn't go more when she was still there and it will be my first dinner next time I go down there.

It's down not too far from 5 sister's around DeVilliers. Not positive about the actual street. It looks like it's in an old gas/service station. Very small, but really good food.

Are you thinking of Union Public House by chance? Kind of between 5 sisters and the ballpark? Gray block building with high windows?

Yes... it was listed in my phone by Urban Swinery, and I got it screwed up.

There is an Urban Cookhouse where I live, so I "fused" it all..... sorry
